The Canadian National Railroad crossing on Ormond Boulevard near River Road (LA-48) in Destrehan will be closed from 3:30 p.m.– 7 p.m. as the railroad performs welding work.

The St. Charles Parish Department of Public Works along with the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office are assisting with the closure of the crossing.

Residents should use alternate routes at this time.
