Cabbage ball tournament to be held in local educator’s memory

RESERVE — A cabbage ball fundraiser in memory of Angie Roussel will be held on Sunday, March 14 at Reserve Bantam, located at 312 Railroad Avenue in Reserve.

Angie Roussel, a native of Houma and resident of Reserve, passed away this month at the age of 54. She is remembered as a vibrant educator in the St. John the Baptist Parish community. Proceeds from the cabbage ball fundraiser will benefit the Roussel family.

The first game begins at 8 a.m. The cost is $25 per person, and benefit T-shirts are available in sizes small through 2XL for $20. Please email your registration to semazzella@hotmail.com no later than March 6.
