ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST PARISH – As water systems worked to replenish overnight and crews continue to respond to water leaks caused by the freeze, St. John the Baptist Parish officials are asking residents to please continue to conserve water and limit non-essential use such as running dishwashers and washing machines. Please also discontinue any faucet dripping.
It is critical that residents continue to conserve water in an effort to rebuild capacity Parish-wide. Crews will be out working again today to repair water leaks. If anyone is experiencing a water outage, or observes a water leak, please call it in to 985-651-6800 or 911 immediately so that Utilities may respond and track accordingly.
As a reminder, Reserve, Garyville, Mt. Airy, Edgard, Wallace and Lucy are under a Boil Water Advisory until further notice.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation.
