LAPLACE — The big day is coming! The Division III State Football Championship is scheduled for 3 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 28, and the St. Charles Catholic Comets are working hard to prepare for this final showdown.

The game will take place in Natchitoches at Northwestern State University’s Turpin Stadium. Click to order your State Championship T-shirt.

To give the Comets extra support, St. Charles Catholic is having a social media rally. The Comet Family is asked to post photos and videos wearing their Comet gear, using the hashtags #cometfans and #alwaysacomet.

SCC will host a Family, Faith and Football Pep Rally at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 17 in the football stadium. This event will last 20-30 minutes and will not interfere with Sunday evening Masses for surrounding Church Parishes.

Mass in the Gym, 7:30 a.m.

Depart for Natchitoches, 8:30 a.m.
