The Knights of Columbus Ascension of Our Lord Council 9623 presented a live version of the First, Second and 3rd Exemplification. This program is usually presented in a virtual format displayed on a TV. A Degree Team was formed to present this in a more personal format and act out roles usually found in the video. The new Degree Team was presented at the Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Church in LaPlace.

On Tuesday, Aug. 16, The Knights of Columbus Ascension of Our Lord Council 9623 presented its annual Gail Gaudet Award. Gail Gaudet, who passed away, was a very valuable assistant who helped with various projects. This yearly award is given to a very deserving woman, who carries on what Gail Gaudet accomplished.
