LAPLACE — Approximately 60 kids participated in a recent STEM St. John session focused on simple machines/toy pulleys. Participants learned all about pulleys and how they redirect force, make work easier and allow a worker to use less force to move an object.

Additional STEM St. John sessions will be scheduled this month, combining fun and learning all into one. These events are sponsored by Nalco and St. John United Way and are hosted by the Department of Health & Human Services.
