LAPLACE — Apostle Renita Graber and Ambassador Winston Graber of Victorious Life Family Worship Center are feeding the community this week at their church locations in Houma and LaPlace.
The Houma “Feed the Community” outreach will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. today, Aug. 5, at 500 Corporate Drive in Houma.
The LaPlace “Feed the Community” outreach will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 6, at 8896 Richmond Drive in LaPlace.
Both events will be held in a drive thru format in accordance with social distancing guidelines. Participants should remain in their vehicles at all times.
Anyone desiring cold water and a hot meal is welcome to attend the drive thru events. No identification or payment is required.
“It’s for anyone who wants a hot meal. We are just trying to be a blessing and an answer to the community’s needs at this time,” Apostle Renita Graber said.
A team of prayer intercessors will also be on hand to pray for anyone in need during this event. Peggy Joseph is the director of the “Feed the Community” outreach. Anyone wishing to sponsor this outreach can call Joseph at 504-669-6602.
