L’OBSERVATEUR’s latest poll asked readers, “If the proposed new rail service between New Orleans and Baton Rouge becomes a reality, would you ride it?” Out of 107 votes cast, 77 people (69 percent) voted Yes, and 33 people (31 percent) voted No.

For the next Facebook poll question, we ask, “Would you like to see more new restaurants in St. John Parish?”If you answer YES, please comment about what restaurant (or type of restaurant) you would like to see. If you think NO, perhaps you could elaborate on why.
