Little Free Libraries in the River Region are turning into little blessing boxes to help neighbors navigate the COVID-19 outbreak.
Pictured at left, Anna Phipps has turned her Little Free Library into a Read & Feed at 2144 Carmel Valley Drive in LaPlace. Visitors can take or leave something to read or something to cook.
“We got inspired by seeing other little libraries doing it,” Phipps said. “We’re hoping to inspire others to put in a little helping hand.”
