SCB presents Sleeping Beauty

DESTREHAN — Fifty-eight students at St. Charles Borromeo School in Destrehan along with the Missoula Childrens’ Theatre recently presented the musical adaptation of the classic tale of Sleeping Beauty.  The local performances were presented in part with financing from a grant presented by River Region Arts & Humanities Council and Entergy along with the Cosmic Crisp.

Fifth grader Isabella Hymel appeared as younger Sleeping Beauty, while seventh grader Tatum Guillot played an older Sleeping Beauty. Other cast members were Nicole Hartel as Scarella; Mary Agate as Lady-in-Waiting/Madame Butterfly; J.T. Dufrene as the King; Molly Gubert as the Queen; Aden Zelaya as Spot; Brennan Hotard as the Town Crier; the Fairies: Presley Bourdonnay, Brinley Brignac, Ryleigh Calongne, Marcella Casanova, Ava Cordaro, Kathryn Engler, Adriana Madere, Bella Nuccio, Lillian Para, Ella Rogers, Emily Taylor, and Sarah Taylor; the Trolls: Violet Bordes, Taylor Bourdonnay, Lauren de la Gardelle, Mary Layne Landry, Camryn McGregor, and Addyson Robin; the Palace Attendants: Corrine Couret, Hunter Hafford, Jenna Millet, Graham Sinnott, Channing St. Pierre, Brielle Angelica, Caraline Kugler, Sarah Lorio, Olivia Mahl, Audrey Goertz, Hazel Ory, Lillian Paschal, Stella Toca, Hailey Hafford, Colin Hagood, Mac McGuire, and Emma Lorusso; the Caterpillars: Victoria Barrilleaux, Ella Berner, Caleb Bordes, Jacob Bordes, Natalia Casanova, Christiano Cerda, Lucy Chiasson, Kaylee Gonzales, Hudson Lassere, Britten Martinez, Olivia Murray, Hayden Orkus, Alexis Richard, and Maddox Sockwell; Assistant Director: Jackson Caver; Cassandra Fedlt as the Jester/Tour Director; Lindsay Adams, Missoula Tour Director and Kristen Brooks as the Accompanist.
