First American Bank in St. Rose robbed

Just after 3:10 p.m. on Jan. 17, St. Charles Parish Sheriff Deputies responded to a bank robbery at the First American Bank located at 11 James Drive in St. Rose.
Detectives determined that a black male, believed to be between 45 to 55 years old, entered the bank in a dark-colored, long sleeved shirt, sunglasses and a black leather baseball cap. He was said to have a “round” face with short stubble, salt and pepper colored facial hair.
The male approached a teller, implied he had a gun and demanded the teller to relinquish money. After getting an undisclosed amount of cash from the teller, the suspect exited the bank and walked west, parallel to Airline Highway.
Detectives were able to identify the suspect vehicle and suspect from security cameras and a warrant was issued for his arrest. Detectives located the vehicle outside of a Luling residence. Detectives found the suspect at the home, where he was taken into custody. According to St. Charles Sheriff’s website, on Jan. 17, Glenneil Isaac, 54, was arrested for 1st degree robbery.
The St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office is assisting federal agents in this investigation, and are still actively investigating the incident.
