A road closure will be in effect on LA 44, 1.5 miles east of LA 3213 (or 1.7 miles west of LA 54) in St. John the Baptist Parish, beginning at 2 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 17, through 6 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 19, for installation of a pipe bridge for the Apex Oil Company.

The following detour will be posted.

Eastbound motorists will be detoured north on LA 3213, then east on US 61, then south on LA 54 to re-intersect LA 44. Westboundmotorists will be detoured north on LA 54, then west on US 61, then south on LA 3213 to re-intersect LA 44.
