Day of fun to benefit pancreatic cancer

Sister Squad is hosting a day of fun from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Nov. 30. The event will be at Reserve Bantam located at 312 Railroad Ave in Reserve.
A Classic Car Show will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
There is a $10 entry fee and $1 per ticket to vote Classic Cars to park at Riverside Academy (next to Reserve Bantam).
All proceeds will benefit Pancreatic Cancer research in honor of Mary Cassagne Cicet and Paula Cassagne Roussel.
In addition, there will be a Cook-off and a Cabbageball Tournament. Other entertainment will include a DJ, the LSU game will be televised, a 50/50 raffle, items to raffle and face painting for kids. Ronnie Cassagne will be coming out of retirement to serve the River Parishes Famous Ronnie Burgers. Sister Squad was formed in honor of Mary Cassagne Cicet and her sister, Paula Cassagne Roussel. Mary passed away from pancreatic cancer. In 2014, Paula Roussel, was diagnosed this year also with pancreatic cancer.
