Helen “Grannie” Joyce Berry Besch

In loving memory of Helen “Grannie” Joyce Berry Besch, born June 29, 1931 in Ogden, Utah and died Oct 29,
2019 in Minneola, Florida. She was the voice of the LaPlace WalMart for over 7 years. She also taught cake decorating and made many wedding cakes as gifts to the wedding couples. Helen was active in her church and spent many years traveling the world with her husband, Bud Besch, who pre-deceased her.
Helen was a resident of LaPlace, Louisiana for over 48 years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. She is survived by her Children: Philip Besch, Sr, Phyl Besch Schuster and Patrick Besch. Grandchildren: Kandi Alexander, Julia Besch, Philip Besch, Jr, Lea Besch Drew, Bonnie Besch Almon and Becky Besch Fitch. Great-Grandchildren: Zachary, Ethan, Chelcee, Kassidy, Philip Anthony, Ashley, Holly, Derek, Jordan and Peyton. Great-Great-Grandchildren: Savannah and Hazel. She left many friends and neighbors behind in the LaPlace area.
Internment Nov 8, 2019 at Highland Memory Gardens, Apopka, Florida. In lieu of flowers, please feel free to donate to the American Lung or the American Heart Association in the name of Helen Besch.
