Keller: Behind every great man is a great woman

The Bible says that when a man finds a wife, he’s found a good thing. Believe me, God has been especially generous to me. I could not do justice and share what she has meant to me and our family. However, I think the following letter she received over a year ago describes how precious she’s been to us.

March 2018 Dear Ms. Jeanne, Today I thought about how Mr. Harold is a good man. But he always justifies that he is who he is because of a great woman. In my distress last year, I told him that I could not be like you and be a great woman who forgives much. But here I am in 2018 forgiving much — it still is a struggle. But I am choosing to forgive and trust God’s Word that revenge is His and that I’m being renewed each day because of how much the trinity works together in my life. Ms. Jeanne, it is truly your quiet strength that empowers your family to love much. Thank you for being that foundation that extends to the public — for sharing your treasures.
