The 46th annual Andouille Festival delivered food, live music, carnival rides, crafts and other family-friendly activities to the St. John the Baptist Parish community over the weekend.
L’OBSERVATEUR asked its social media followers the following question: What did you think about this year’s festival?
Had a great time. Food was excellent had many vendors to choose from. — Jeremy West
Crawfish balls & rice were delicious — Emma Nicholson
I went all three days and loved it! I would like for there to be a bag check/metal detectors next year. My backpack wasn’t checked one time during my admittance and didn’t see any others being checked. Other than that, I had a blast with all of my hometown friends. ❤ — Lauren Michel
It was not the good food I remember from years past. — Lynda Stafford Galloway
Rechell Cook is an awesome performer/entertainer and should be invited to return next year… She does Jazzfest all of New Orleans and then some…yet we put her on a small stage/tent…when several acts on the main stage did not give the performance, enthusiasm, or draw the crowd she did. The food vendors were good as usual but the merchant vendors left some things to be desired. — Darek Jones
Great, just too hot for me. — Sherial White-Lewis
I think they should allow Food Trucks next year… ☺ — Moe Man
