St. Joan of Arc will host a fun evening of Trunk or Treat from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Oct. 26 at 412 Fir St., LaPlace. There is a $2 entry fee for children and concessions will be sold. Candy donations will be collected in the school office and in the gathering space of the church. To host a trunk, please email SJAtrunkortreat@gmail.com. Trunks will be accepted on a first come first serve basis. The event will benefit the SJA Science and S.T.E.M. program.

Ascension of Our Lord will host a Trunk or Treat from 5 p.m to 7p.m. on Oct 27 at 1809 Greenwood Drive in LaPlace. There is a $5 entry fee for children that includes trunk or treating, face painting, hay ride and entrance in the costume contest. To host a trunk email amelancon@aolcrusaders.org. First Baptist Church will host a Fall Festival from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 26 at 120 Ormond Blvd in LaPlace. There will be fun for the whole family with door prizes, free food, candy, bounce houses and a game truck.
