Thibodaux Regional Medical Center is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Omer Khokhar, Hematologist-Medical Oncologist, to the active medical staff. He has joined Thibodaux Regional Oncology Clinic located in Thibodaux Regional’s Cancer Center, (985) 493-4346.

Dr. Khokhar received his medical degree from Lahore Medical and Dental College in Pakistan. He completed an Internal Medicine Residency as well as a Fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at the University of Missouri in Columbia, MO. Dr. Khokhar received numerous awards and honors including the Michael C. Perry Endowed Fellowship Outstanding Fellow Award and Christiana Care Health System Diamond Award for Patient Care.

In addition, Thibodaux Regional Health System is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Venkata Devabhaktuni, Psychiatrist, to the active medical staff.  His office is located at Thibodaux Medical Clinic, 931 N. Canal Boulevard, Thibodaux, (985) 446-6381.

Dr. Devabhaktuni received his medical degree from Guntur Medical College in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, India. He completed a Psychiatry Residency Program at the University Health Sciences/Chicago Medical School in North Chicago, IL.
