GARYVILLE — At about 3:30 a.m.  on  Sunday, August 11 the St. John Sheriff’s Office received a call for service regarding a male subject who  forced his way inside, after kicking a down a door of a residence in Garyville. The male was identified as 29-year-old Devin Bolden. According to witnesses, Bolden assaulted the victim, Tyjanae Joseph, 21, and soon after fled with her.

     Detectives believe Bolden fled with Joseph against her will. According to Sheriff’s report, Joseph was  found later  evening and in good health.

  Bolden was arrested and charged with Attempted Home Invasion, Simple Criminal Damage To Property Under $1000 Domestic Abuse Battery, Simple Kidnapping  and Domestic Abuse Battery
