LULING — G.I.R.L. go-getters, innovators, risk-takers and leaders are invited to an adventurous day camp experience.

St. Charles Parish Girl Scouts are now accepting registrations for a five-day summer day camp held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 29- August 2 at Holy Family Church in Luling.

Camp is open to all girls entering kindergarten through 12th grade, with girls in sixth grade and above serving as program aides.

The annual camp provides adventure, exploration and fond memories for girls and volunteers alike. This year’s theme, “BADGEPALOOZA!” promises fun-filled activities and badge-earning opportunities spanning art and science, outdoor life skills, community interaction and more.

Camp fees are $65 for registered Girl Scouts and $90 for non-registered Girl Scouts.

The fee for girls who have never been a Girl Scout is $100, which includes an extended Girl Scout USA membership until September 2020.

The fee for program aides who are not currently registered Girl Scouts is $25, and all aides will earn service hours. Parents are also encouraged to volunteer.

All campers and aides should dress appropriately for the weather and bring a sack lunch. Childcare is available before and after camp each day at $40 for the week, or $5 per morning or afternoon session, starting at 7:30 a.m. and ending at 5 p.m.

The deadline to register is July 8.
