40th Judicial District Public Defender Richard B. Stricks recently presented an award to attorney Fontella Baker for Outstanding Lawyer of the Month in January.

Baker, a staff attorney at the 40th Judicial District, demonstrated outstanding research and writing, as well as motivation for others to excel in handling a particularly complex case in the 40th Judicial District Court.
