Update: St. John Sheriff’s Office asking for help identifying theft suspect

Detectives with the St. John Parish Sheriff’s Office are seeking the public’s help identifying and locating a theft suspect dating back three weeks.
According to authorities, a theft occurred at a business in the 100 block of Belle Terre Boulevard in LaPlace on Dec. 27.
When asked for details concerning the alleged crime, a Sheriff’s Office spokesperson said providing those to the public would hamper the investigation during the suspect interview process.

Police say the man pictured is connected to a LaPlace theft in December.
