Winners of the River Region Chamber of Commerce’s Oct. 19 Golf Tournament’s morning flight were: Mosaic; first place; and Stronghold Companies, second place. A second team from Mosaic was awarded third place. Additionally, John Brandon and Rene’s Trucking earned Closest to the Hole and Longest Drive honors, respectively. The tournament was held at Belle Terre Country Club in LaPlace.

Golfers from across the River Parishes and beyond stepped to the tees Oct. 19 at Belle Terre Country Club in LaPlace, as part of the River Region Chamber of Commerce’s Golf Tournament.

The organization’s 2018 fall signature event featured lunch and dinner, as well as gifts and prize opportunities, including hole-in-one, closest-to-the-hole and longest drive contests.

Chamber leadership touted the benefits of participating and encouraged the business community to participate. Proceeds from the tournament will be used in part to support the Chamber’s workforce development initiatives.
