East St. John High alumnus Dr. Ernest Ricks is releasing his hip hop solo debut this week on Apple Music under the name "Ric Sincere."

Dr. Ernest Ricks, a Class of 2000 East St. John High graduate, is releasing his hip hop solo debut, “Beyond Belief” Friday.

Using the stage name Ric Sincere, the project is available for pre-order on Apple Music. Ricks is an assistant professor of biology and biochemistry at Georgia Gwinnett College in Lawrenceville, Ga.
