Photo feature: Christmas Card creators celebrated

: The St. John the Baptist Parish School Board recognized the winners of its annual Christmas Card Contest Thursday night. Winners — front row, from left, are Ariel Davis, first through fourth grade; Kenyin Keller, fifth through sixth grade; Lexi St. Pierre, seventh through eighth grade; and Cristian Martinez, ninth through 12th grade — received plaques featuring their cards from, back row, from left, Superintendent Kevin George and School Board President Albert ‘Ali’ Burl III. Each year the district conducts the contest and sends out the winning cards as the district’s Christmas card. This year’s theme was ‘Christmas Magic.’
