LAPLACE — The Interstate 10/Belle Terre Boulevard (Louisiana 3188) entrance and exit ramps will experience a string of overnight closures, starting Monday, according to the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development.
Project Engineer Steve Perilloux said closures, needed for asphalt overlay, would last from 8 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. Oct. 16 through Oct. 19 and impact east bound and west bound ramps.
The closures are scheduled to continue during the same time periods Oct. 22-26 and Oct. 29-Nov. 2.
Perilloux said a detour would be posted, directing motorists to exit I-10 at Exit 209, which is the U.S. 51 exit.
“DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the work site and be on the lookout for work crews and equipment,” a release said.
