News Photo: Commercial strip center begins construction

A new commercial strip center is planned on Airline Highway in LaPlace next to Bailey’s World Famous Andouille. Quan Truong Inc. of Kenner is preparing foundation and building shell work at the site at 701 Airline Highway. Future potential tenants are not known at this time, as St. John Parish officials said tenant build out would occur later and under separate permits.
