ST. ROSE — Glen Smith and Gary Smith Sr. of The Magnolia Companies of LA recently presented a monetary donation to the Louisiana State Troopers Association in support of the Association’s Annual Statewide Convention.

This year’s convention is being hosted locally by the Troop B Affiliate in Kenner.

The Trooper’s Association is expecting more than 700 attendees from all over the State of Louisiana for this year’s event.

The Magnolia Companies representatives said Troopers Association Troop B Affiliate President Sergeant Christopher Brown honored them with a visit July 21. Brown is in charge of convention organizing and fundraising.

“The Troopers in our area, and all over the State, do so much for the citizens of Louisiana,” Gary Smith Sr. said.

“We are pleased and proud to express our gratitude to their service and dedication any way we can.”
