- Former St. John the Baptist Parish School Board member and current Registrar of Voters Russell Jack, Superintendent Kevin George, West St. John High School Principal Claude Hill Jr., student Marcus Boudoin, master teacher Belinda Bailey, student Covan Barnes, paraeducator Trina Smith, School Board member Charo Holden, teacher Corday Barnes, WSJH Assistant Principal Kendria Spears, WSJH Valedictorian Burnell Hall and School Board President Albert ‘Ali’ Burl III display the banner the St. John the Baptist Parish Public School District presented to West St. John High School for earning a bronze medal distinction in U.S. News and World Report’s annual Best High School rankings. Each year, U.S. News & World Report analyzes data on more than 22,000 public high schools across the country and this year awarded the top 6,041 with gold, silver or bronze medals.
