The St. John Parish Sheriff’s Office announced Friday morning that murder suspect Kaylan Morris was found in Baton Rouge and is being booked on appropriate charges.

Authorities announced Thursday evening they were seeking Morris, 21, of Garyville, who police said was wanted for first degree murder.

According to authorities, Morris is linked to the death of a Garyville man who was killed at approximately 3 p.m. Thursday in the 300 block of Fig Street in Garyville.
