Patients at St. James Parish Hospital have the option to sign-up for our secure, online Patient Portal. We are excited to announce a new feature with more to come.

The Patient Portal is an online Health Management Tool that allows you to securely view clinical data from your Electronic Medical Record.

Clinical Information available is a collection of your St. James Parish Hospital affiliated visits, allowing you to view services and procedures by visit. In addition, the Patient Portal offers a safe option for viewing and paying hospital bills online.

Is it Safe?

Yes, our web-based Patient Portal and online bill pay system is secure and protected. In addition, we follow a strict protocol for allowing patient access.

After verifying patient identity, patients are offered the option during the face-to-face registration process to add their email address to their patient record.

The patient is then sent a personal email invitation to sign-up for the portal.

This invitation can only be used by that particular patient.

The patient then creates an authentic username and password, which must be used to access any information through the portal.

What health info can I find from the portal? 

Personal health information such as certain test results, medications, allergies, immunizations and a summary of health issues is available 24/7 through the Patient Portal. This information can be accessed as needed for an up-to-date snapshot of your health history.

What’s New?

Online Bill Pay is now available through our Patient Portal.

This offers users a streamlined, integrated option for paying hospital bills.

In addition, patients can see a snapshot (listing) of multiple accounts and pay on each quickly and easily without having to log-in for each separate payment.

Our goal is to safely and securely connect our patients to their Electronic Medical Record.

While our current portal offers patients useful information for health management, we are consistently working with our technical provider to improve this tool for you.

As new features and updates are tested and activated, we will reach out to our patient community through marketing.

We are committed to helping our patients stay informed and educated in order to better manage their health, and we are proud to continue offering the tools to make this possible.
