LAPLACE — Tractor Supply Company leaders say they are always looking for potential new store locations that are a good fit as far as the target market is concerned.

“Concerning the location in LaPlace, this is especially true in that the area was attractive due to the part-time and hobby farmers and horse owners in the area,” Charlotte Weatherington said.

Weatherington, who works in media relations for Tractor Supply Company, was happy to announce the company has tentatively scheduled a Sept. 17 soft opening and Sept. 24 grand opening celebration for the LaPlace store.

Located at the corner of Airline Highway and Rue de Sante, construction of Tractor Supply’s 19,000 square foot location has been visible to St. John the Baptist Parish motorists for months.

Company leaders are promising plenty of sales floor and support service space as they look to bring Tractor Supply Company product expertise to local customers while supplying lawn, garden and animal care assistance.

“Tractor Supply Company is excited about being a new member of the LaPlace business community,” Weatherington said.

The LaPlace Tractor Supply store will employ between 12-17 full and part-time team members, Weatherington said.
