LAPLACE — Dozens of youth players joined in with St. Charles Catholic High School athletes and coaches to go over all things football while making sure to have plenty of fun at SCC’s Youth Football Camp.
Led by head football coach and Athletic Director Frank Monica, boys from 7- to 13-years-old learned about proper football fundamentals and weight training from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Monday through Thursday.
Speed drills were also part of the fun.
Special features included a camp T-shirt; Hammer Award presented to a camper each day; Comet ball games held daily and The Great Relay Race.
