Mimosa Park Elementary School in Luling has chosen the reigning King and Queen of The Krewe of Mimosa. Principal Michele DeBruler is shown with Joshua Boone and Bracee Jackson, who have been chosen as this year’s king and queen. They will preside over the annual Mardi Gras parade presented by the second grade classes at 9:30 a.m. Feb. 5 at the school. This year’s theme is ‘Ain’t Dere No More.’
