Navy brings lesson to SCC

LAPLACE — Matthew Suarez, a student at the United States Naval Academy, recently gave an informative and inspirational presentation to 100 students at St. Charles Catholic High School.
Graduates of the United States Naval Academy make a tremendous impact on the world around them, and Suarez explained the admissions process, as well as shared information regarding the different majors and opportunities available to the students. SCC officials said eight St. Charles Catholic High School underclassmen are interested in a future at the Naval Academy.
