Photo Feature: Luminaries for sale

- Riverside Academy fourth grader Dulce Rutledge works with a Southeast Louisiana War Veterans Home resident to create Fourth of July luminaries that will be sold at Riverside’s spring festival to raise money for the home’s recreational activities. Funded by the Brown Foundation, Linda Roundtree’s social studies classes will collaborate with veterans to create stars-and-stripes art as part of a service learning project that began with American flag study.
