St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church held its annual Pet Blessings to mark the feast day of St. Francis of Assisi. One of the blessings took place at the end of the school day, and many of the parish and school families brought their pets for the blessing. The Rev. Garrett O’Brien spoke about St. Francis’ love for animals and his work to promote peace in the world. Seth Catoire sat attentively and petted his dog as he listened to the readings.
