LAPLACE — Police are investigating a shooting Tuesday night that broke a LaPlace home window.

St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies responded at 9:43 p.m. Tuesday to a residence in the 600 block of St. Andrews Boulevard following a gunshot report.

Sheriff Mike Tregre said the complainant told deputies he heard a pop, then heard the window break.

The initial investigation revealed a single gunshot broke the window. No one was reported injured.

Anyone with information regarding the shooting is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office TIPS line at 985-359-TIPS or Crimestoppers at 504-822- 1111. Those that call Crimestoppers do not have to testify and may qualify for a cash reward.
