A tradition at St. Joan of Arc Catholic School is the reenactment of Christ’s passion and death in the Living Stations of the Cross. Eighth grade students have portrayed each character in the past; however, this year some seventh grade students participated. The reenactment began with Jesus being led down the main aisle of the church by the soldiers and the centurion. The action traveled around the church as each station was reenacted, from Jesus being condemned to death through His death and burial. Portraying Jesus in the photo is Bryce Newman with Ja Shawn Ferrand, right, who portrayed Simon of Cyrene. Monique Maurin, left, played the part of Veronica, who wiped the face of Jesus. Roman guards were portrayed by Nicholas Price, left, and Brayden Bertucci.
