The family of Larry and Kay Dauterive of LaPlace traveled to New York City from Dec. 23 to Jan. 1 in celebration of their 50th anniversary. They stayed at the Sheraton Times Square and enjoyed the sights and sounds of the Big Apple during the holiday season. Larry and Kay renewed their vows in a special, surprise ceremony officiated by daughter Jamie and witnessed by daughter Dionne and granddaughters Courtney and MacKenzie. The Dauterives were married Jan. 30, 1965, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in New Iberia.
