Financial planning help for retirees planned

DESTREHAN — John Siroi, local estate planning and elder law attorney, will present a series of three financial planning workshops at the St. Charles Parish East Regional Library in Destrehan.
Dates include:
Dec. 8 – Paying for Long-Term Care: Topics include long-term care insurance options, Medicaid and Veterans’ Benefits.
Dec. 9 – Estate Planning in Louisiana: Topics include wills, trusts and powers of attorney.
Dec. 11 – Retirement Workshop: Topics include Social Security, how much is needed to retire and IRAs.
All sessions begin at 1 p.m.
The workshops are designed for retirees, pre-retirees, anyone with older relatives and seniors who wish to ensure the financial security of their spouse, children and grandchildren.
John E. Sirois is based out of Houma, practicing in the areas of estate planning, successions and probate, wills, trusts, special needs planning, Medicaid and long term care planning and business matters.
All St. Charles Parish Library events are free and open to the public.
