LAPLACE — In a battle of undefeated teams, LARAYO stood tall as the last of the unbeaten Thursday night, toppling host Sun Villa 351-214.

Claude Remondet and Emily Schexnayder each led the Barracudas (4-0) with three individual wins.

Adrienne Arnett, Kelly Campbell and Paige Williams each captured two victories.

Dylan Smith, Aliyah Manson, Hartley Faucheux, Matthew Schexnayder, Brady St. Pierre, Blakely Heltz, Evan Brady, Josh Vicknair, Kaile Levatino, Gage Crowdus, Olivia Keating, Kelsie Williams, Ben East and Jeanne Roussel rounded out event winners for LARAYO, each taking a first place finish.

LARAYO established a strong lead after two events, winning the freestyle event 68-40 and the backstroke 72-48 to lead 140-76. The Barracudas led 274-151 heading into relay events, where Sun Villa hung tough but ultimately could not gain ground.

LARAYO 367.5, HILL HEIGHTS 192.5 — The Barracudas hosted Hill Heights on June 18 and came away with a decisive victory to remain unbeaten.

Noelle Remondet, Owen Weber, Emily Schexnayder, Madison Weber and Ben East all swept their three individual events to pace the Barracudas.

Jonathan Carver, Aliyah Manson, Matthew Schexnayder and Kelly Campbell each won two events while Claude Remondet, Brady Matherne, Adrienne Arnett, Hudson Heltz, Cameron Brady, Rylee Schexnayder, Jackson Jensen, Evan Brady, Ben Schiff, Kaile Levatino, Olivia Keating, Bailey Bourgeois and Paige Williams each captured one for LARAYO.
