LSU University College presented its annual “Celebration of Excellence” Spring Awards program on April 1 at The Club on Union Square. Emma Castay was awarded LSU University College’s Elayn Hunt Memorial Scholarship. Castay, a freshman majoring in arts & humanities with a 3.81 GPA, joins an elite group of scholarship recipients. Castay, daughter of Walter and Angela Castay, is a graduate of Ursuline Academy and a native of LaPlace.
