Mildred Legaux Oubre Weber, passed away Saturday, May 3, 2014, at the age of 97.
Daughter of the late Berthold and Odile Hilaire Legaux, she was preceded in death by her first husband Sammy Oubre and her second husband Melvin Weber.
She was the mother of JoAnn (Joe) Perdue, Linda O. Johnson of Olathe, KS, James S. (Carolyn) Oubre, Jr., Rickey M. (Marie) Oubre, and Tally M. (Melvin) of Loganville, GA. Sister of the late Ethel L. Sorapuru, Maurice F. Legaux, Clyde Legaux and Clydell Legaux and is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Relatives and friends of the family, also members of The New Orleans Church, Uptown Shepherd’s Center, St. John The Baptist Catholic Church, and SCLTC are invited to attend a funeral ceremony at The Baloney Funeral Home, LLC., 1905 W. Airline Highway, LaPlace, La. on Saturday, May 10, 2014 for 11 a.m.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until time of service.
Evangelist Samuel Stephenson of The New Orleans Church and Elder Darren Gauthier of the Chicago Church of Christ will be officiating. There will be a private burial. Funeral entrusted to The Baloney Funeral Home, LLC., 1905 W. Airline Highway, Laplace, La., 985-224-8460.
