The fifth-grade students at St. Joan of Arc Catholic School were amazed as they searched through owl pellets in the science lab to find bones of rodents. As the students discovered bones, they had to identify the type of bone using a diagram. After recovering all possible bones from the pellets, groups of students worked to piece their findings together to create a rodent skeleton. Luke Boucvalt, left, and Riley Weber, right, carefully searched to find bones.
