The Knights of Columbus council No. 9623 sponsored the Basketball Free Throw Contest for boys and girls between the ages of 9 and 14. Winners from Ascension of Our Lord School are (front row, left to right) Logan Aucoin – 9 year old boy, Trinity Hebert – 9 year old girl, Jordan Garner – 10 year old boy, Christian Montz – 11 year old boy and Mallory Fernandez – 11 year old girl; and (back row, left to right) Shelby Britt – 12 year old girl, Kobe Burke – 12 year old boy, Hope Aucoin – 13 year old girl, Robert Mays – 13 year old boy and Riley Loupe – 14 year old boy. Winners were presented a certificate from Grand Knight Mike Abbate and competed at the district contest, which was held at Ascension of Our Lord School. Jordan Garner, Christian Montz, Riley Loupe and Kalei Jenkins were winners at the district contest and participated in the Area A competition.
