The local Regions Bank recently donated their famous Green Bike to the LaPlace Lions Club. The lifegreen bike and matching helmet, the same ones used in a current marketing campaign by Regions, will be raffled off to support the Lions Club.
“We are so pleased to receive this bicycle from Regions Bank in LaPlace. The green bicycles are more than a symbol of Regions. They also represent what it means to serve and remind us that being green allows us to go to new places – to a cleaner world, a place of financial security – and, like the Lions Club itself, provide a stable and secure place to learn, grow and reach your potential,” said Woody Norsworthy, president of the LaPlace Lions Club.
The donation took place in conjunction with a Regions Bank Build a Better Bank Bike Tour through Louisiana to encourage customers to review their current financial situation and learn about the services Regions provides, as well as to thank the community for its business.
