Jeanette Meyer Froeba, 59, passed away at home on July 6, 2013, after a long, brave battle with cancer. She was a native of New Orleans and a resident of LaPlace for 35 years.
She was the loving mother of Melissa Froeba (Blake Jarreau) and Holley Froeba Manson (Scottey Manson). She leaves behind six grandchildren that she loved and cherished: Kayla Gaudin, Trevor Trinchard, Devin Trinchard, Dakota Jarreau, Aliyah Manson and Kinley Manson.
She was the beloved daughter of Annie Meyer and the late Edward Meyer and sister of the late JoAnn LeGaux. Her living sisters are Elaine LeGaux, Linda Alford, Susan Cosse, Lorraine Townsend, Anna Bonstaff and Pamela Parten. She is also survived by her great friend, Jerry Froeba, and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Her long-time friends who are left behind to cherish her memories will forever love her and miss her.
Services will be held from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. Thursday, July 11, 2013, at Millet-Guidry Funeral Home, 2806 W. Airline Highway, LaPlace.
