Alice Garaci Cambre, 102, passed away Thursday, May 23, 2013.
She was the beloved wife of the late Lionel Cambre, mother of Ronald Cambre (Gail) and the late Lionel Cambre Jr. (the late Clara), grandmother of Robin Cambre, Susanne Cambre Dwyer, Trudy Sandefer and Thomas Cambre, great-grandmother of Andrew, Emily, Caitlin, Cory, Hillary, Meredith, T.J. and Zachary, daughter of the late Antonino and Coletti Lanza Maria Santa Garaci and sister of the late Mary Starlone.
She was born in Franklin, lived in St. Rose for most of her life and was a resident of LaPlace in her senior years.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend services. Visitation will be held at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church Destrehan on Wednesday, May 29, 2013, from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., followed by Mass at 11 a.m. Burial will be private in St. Peter Cemetery in Reserve. Arrangements are by Millet-Guidry Funeral Home of LaPlace.
