LAPLACE – Donald Weber, the suspect wanted in connection to the April 30 shooting of a LaPlace man, was captured this week.
St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff’s Office detectives were informed on Tuesday that Weber Jr., 31, of Reserve was arrested in Pike County, Miss., by the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force.
On April 30, deputies responded to the 300 block of Historic East Street in Garyville for the report of a subject being shot. The victim, a 24-year-old man from LaPlace, was transported by family
